so yes, as i've updated this afternoon that i'll be working today and i just got back like half and hour ago. part of me feels like i'm so bloody tired that i'm gonna collapse anytime and then there's the another part of me that feels like i wanna work everyday like this bc i really do enjoy working and having all this ridiculous fun.
i know i sound weird but it really is fun (to me) and enjoyable. it's like as much as i hate washing the dishes or to erve customers with the fear that i might spill their drink or drop their plate flat on the floor, i still do enjoy this job. hahaha, plus free yogurt so why the hell not right?
but today it was so boring. ok not really but most of the time it was. except that i went to look for things to do like topping up all the toppings and cleaning all the utensils and blah blah blah. you get the idea. it was so quiet bleh. plus it was raining so boohoo times 2.
but hehe, today Amirul and his friend came to visit haha. he was so cute and evil and troublesome and annoying. hahaha, i know you're gonna read this so pls stop being so lame. hahaha, kidding don't cry. so anyw, we took a few photos and i would upload it so yup. and thank you for coming down today to support me hehe. shank kew so so much!!! but you never drink your soup *roll my eyes*
oh and there were like these 3 guys that walked past and one of them came back saying that his friend wants my number (i was blank and obv, didn't want to give him my number). so, i told him that if he wanted my number, they have to dine at Swirl @rt hahaha. so yup, they left. but few hours later they came back and i had to serve them. double the bloody awkwardness pls. then i gave them the menu and i went to Peggy (the full-timer) and asked her to help me serve them.
i told her why and she was like "it's ok, i feel you. been through that before hahaha" so she served them and basically anything involved in conversing with them she did it. so then when one of them (not the one that came up to me) came and paid the bill. i was at the cash register so... yeah. he was like "i thought package (my phone number if they dine in)? *laughs*" and guess what? all i did was stand there and smile awkwardly. so he went like "hahaha, kidding la! ok bye bye!" so i said bye and just smile...
hahaha, funniest and the most awkward time ever in the café. so yup, knocked off at 1:09am. took a cab back to Rach's. the uncle was weird. ok, i can't decide if he is just being a typical ti ko peh (aka pedophile) or he was just being extremely nice to a 15 y/o that is going to take the lift home at 1 going to 2am. haha. but either way, i have yet to claim my money back from boss yet.
hopefully, i can get both my cab fares back on 23rd. haha, i don't even know when i'm getting my pay. oh and another thing is, i think i might be working with Jen at some banquet for like 10bucks/hr. not confirmed tho. plus, it cuts into my "5 day straight study"plan. hmm. we'll see then.
