waffles and ice cream and everything nice

Hello! Yes, it is my off day again today! However, I am gonna be working for the next 8 days till my next off day hahaha. I am kind of looking forward to not spend anymore money because I need to start saving up for my Bkk trip hehehe.

So anyway, today I woke up early but Jen didn't so we didn't gym.... again lol. I went back to sleep and woke up an hour later and yes, I am late as usual. I rushed and headed down to Temasek Poly to meet Alvin. After I met Alvin for awhile, I met up with Sarah! *squeals* We had Thai food for lunch and caught up with each other hehehe. Sadly, I didn't take any photos with her. It's okay, there's always a next time. Besides, I personally think that the best time spent is when you don't use your phone at all because then you're sharing that moment with that particular person, interacting off social media or what not.

I sent her back for her class and then headed to town. Bus ride was so cold but it was a rather quick ride. Nothing interesting except that I collected my Windsor Smith inspired shoes from Styledasher, with the help of the super courteous and kind sales girl, Jin. Before I left town, I got a new phone cover, lenses, 3 new clothing items hehehe.

I was late, again. I met up with Hibiscus! We met at Little India because we wanted to thread our brows. It was my first time as I could no longer stand the mess of my brows. It was so fucking horrifying. Okay not that bad but since I am a person with different level of pain tolerance, I would say this is like getting poked with a needle all that once at your eyebrows area. It was rather painful but tolerable, I suppose. Besides, the pain didn't last long and the results are amazeballs! My brows are so much more defined now and ugh, so in love with them!

We then headed to Raffles City to have dinz. We decided to try out this place named, Simply Wrap!. It was not the best and not something I would go for anytime, ever. I still prefer Smoothie King's wrap and Starbuck's spinach wrap or a Subway one would do. Their portion is pretty huge (at least for me) and I guess it would be advisable to share it with a friend. They do Salads as well but of course, I only have the salad at Far East because I like that store (so far). I tried out Arizona ginseng green tea for the first time and I wouldn't pay $3.50 for it. To me, it was rather alright. Tasted pretty much like diluted honey water but whatever. After Raffles City, we went to Creamier at Toa Payoh and it is still (by far) my (only) favourite waffles and ice cream place hehehe. Had thai milk tea as usual.

Passing by that place today wasn't a good thing for me. There were so much to remember about and the thought of the memories was bittersweet. I would wish to never have to remember about it but I also know that I would love to keep those memories right at the bottom of my heart with everything that belongs to it as well. Seal it and never open it again.

That is all for today. I am really thankful for what I have and having to experience so much. I am still young so there's so much more to explore and learn about. I cannot wait to embark on a new journey! I am thankful too, to have the ones that said they'll never leave and meant what they said. After today, I came to realise that people do leave regardless of the promises that they have made simply because people change. I am thankful too, for my mom and all that she has done for me. Just wish she was a little more supportive and understanding as well as a little more open minded with my ideas and plans. What are you thankful for?
