i'm still not really in the mood for anything or everything in my life right now. but hey, i've got to pick things up and actually be fine right? so anyw, i wanted to blog last night but then Rach had alr switched off the wifi so i was forget it. oh yeah, i was actually at home but obv something happened and i was in the mood for anyth, i stayed home. i was watching pretty little liars and i even ordered Domino's.
then rach texted me and told me to go over to her's and crash till sunday. so i considered and decided that i don't want to rot at home or cry till my eye balls pop out and roll around. eww. but yeah, you get me. so i packed my stuffs and went to her place. oh plus, there's another christmas party with her parent's friends on saturday so yeah.
oh i borrowed this book from the national library. its called "undone" by Cat Clarke. i've read till about chapter 21. but that was bc i read it till i was tired last night (which meant that i only fell asleep at & plus 8 this morning). i lent that book to rach since it was only due on 21/24 Jan. while i took my time reading 'Fifty Shades of Grey' by EL James book 1.
oh ya and the reason why this is titled 'Great News' is bc last night i did some serious cray cray hunt for jos. be it in retail or for cafes. i just kept sending out emails to those that advertised and texted a few. oh and i woke up at 3pm today and sobs, i was disappointed and honestly, feeling disheartened bc it seemed like i can never get/find a job. /sobs sobs/
then suddenly, while i was watching the tv with rach, my phone rang. random weird number. i freaked. picked up the phone. it was a lady from Swirl @rt. she asked a few questions and asked me if i could head down to the River Valley Rd outlet today so obv, me being the nothing-better-to-do-lazy-girl i went to bathe and then rach went tgt with me.
we took the wrong bus initially and bleh. plus i was alr planning to stay home (Rach's) to do all my work and maybe finally actually stop being so.. sad. but anyw, it was good that i got out. i wasnt actually being all cray cray but i did manage to distract myself.
oh yeah, about the job. the lady was so friendly and nice! so yup, i got the job and i'll be working on the 23,24 and 25th. yup, christmas. bc i'm not gonna have anyone to celebrate christmas with so i'll just work heh. oh, if you wanna drop by to maybe stalk/visit me haha. you can take bus 14 from the bus stop at somerset 313. the one where there's a skate park there.
so yup, i was beaming bc i finally gotten a job and even tho it wasn't a retail job i didnt mind. i was happy that i even had a job alr. oh then we went to town again to shop around haha. i think i might have some christmas shopping to do, or not. we'll see how it goes.
Christmas has always been one of those seasons that i loved the most, apart from chinese new year. bc christmas is just perfect. the christmas carols, the movies, the "snow" that is actually "rain" in singapore (but hey the weather is equally cold enough ha), the sales, the happiness in the air. i just feel like christmas never fail to bring people together and it's just nice to know that people are in the spirit of giving and sharing and just happy.
so yeah, i'm currently addicted to 'Christmas Love' by justin. oh 'All i want is you' is nice too. i think glee has some nice versions of christmas carols too. hehe. either way 'Christmas Love' is still my fav. ok i guess this is it for now? hehe. i'll blog again.
